“Through play, children learn
what no one can teach them”
-Lawrence Frank
“Play is a child’s life and the means by which he comes to understand the world he lives in.”
-Susan Isaacs

Ti Amore Children’s Center staff is committed to the belief that children have achieved a lot in their first few years of life; they CAN DO a lot. It is the role of our staff to build upon those things that children are able to do. We believe that most of life’s learning, including how to learn, occurs in the first five years of life. Since each child learns at his or her own pace, our staff will look to him or her to determine the next stage of development. This “can do” approach is the basis of our philosophy. This “can do” viewpoint allows children we serve to become confident and to enjoy successes in an atmosphere of respect, warmth, and LOVE!

Subti

Ti Amore Children’s Center strives to provide the highest quality child care and play-based education for children in Sacramento County as well as professional training for our staff. Our mission is to create a one-of-a kind children’s center that provides a loving, supportive, safe, and educational environment for the children and staff we work with. We like to think of Ti Amore Children’s Center a place where they are accepted and loved… a place where laughter, play, and hard work are cherished…a place where we can meet the intellectual, moral, social, emotional, and physical needs of each child. It is our mission for each child to know that they are loved.

Our Mission

Krisann Vistica has worked with children all her life. Some of her career experiences include babysitting, a 1:1 instructional assistant for children and adolescents with a variety of different special needs in a variety of classrooms and with a variety of teachers, and an in-home behavior therapist for a child with autism, all of which she gained a lot of exposure to the teaching and classroom environments. Krisann also worked for a company that provided early intensive behavior and language therapy to children with Autism where she held the position of Clinical Assistant. Some of her responsibilities included individual academic and behavior intervention programming, staff training, parent and district meetings, and social development of the students under her supervision. In this role, Krisann also developed a “Kids Helping Kids” Program which was designed to teach social skills to the students and to develop meaningful peer relationships with typically developing peers from the community. Krisann has in excess of 20,000 hours providing direct intervention to children with autism spectrum disorders from 2 to 12 years of age.

Krisann receievd her Bachelors Degree in Child Development with a Minor in Psychology from CSU Sacramento as well as her Masters Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis. In February 2011, Krisann took her career path in a different direction after having a daughter of her own. She opened up a small licensed in-home preschool and child care program which she independently developed and successfully ran for 2 years. In August 2012, Krisann and her husband purchased a Preschool Center in Fair Oaks, which they now proudly call the Ti Amore Children's Center. Serving the children and families in and around the Fair Oaks/Orangevale area, the Ti Amore Children's Center will be a place that Krisann uses all of her education and experience in while doing what she loves most- Working with Children!! As the Owner/Director of Ti Amore, Krisann is very excited to provide a safe, loving, and educational preschool to the children in her community.

The Ti Amore Children’s Center staff consists of highly qualified educators trained in Early Childhood Education and related fields. We employ people who are mature, warm and nurturing, who understand child development, who can apply their knowledge in the classroom, and who respect each child as an individual. We seek employees who value working as a team with parents, colleagues, and volunteers.

We select our staff carefully in order to provide the best possible care and education for the children. Many of our teachers hold Associate, Bachelors, and/or Masters Degrees as well as teaching credentials. Our low teacher/child ratios allow for the staff to plan and provide a high quality program in each of our classrooms. Our staff is caring, professional child care providers that maintain a positive and stimulating atmosphere where your child is cared for and respected. Your child is very special and it is our goal to attend to all of his/her needs, both personal and developmental.
